Quite correct, but since 3/4 of the world can't stand teasing, this is gonna be a lonely forum then.

No doubt about that, but this forum won't grow unless we start to acting a bit more normal and getting people interested in the reasons this forum was brought up.

Isn't it funny that we go off-topic in...well...every thread, but hardly ever post in a thread where we're allowed and even ENCOURAGED to go off-topic?

It did have a topic Just read back. The topic just changes constantly.

But anyway, be nice to new members! Make them feel welcome.

I posted a video about cults somewhere. How to start a cult. Anyway, a forum is kind of like a cult, and love bombing is a great technique used in cults, and described in that video. Make them feel welcome, give them attention, and then start taking that attention away, and make them post constructive things to get the same kind of treatment that they got to begin with.

That should work.

So next time someone introduces him or her self, it's your best friend in the world, you can't live without them. And if they post, lets say, around 30 things, you can start disagreeing and treating them like crap. Because yeah, we are assholes.

Doesn't matter, if you show interest and kindness, even if they suspect it's fake, most people will appreciate it. Because they crave attention and acceptance. And what new member is going to read all the bullshit posted here?
