In December 1999 a student in Oklahoma, USA was suspended from school for 15 days for allegedly casting spells.

As at February 16, 2008 a Saudi woman Fawzi Falih was arrested and convicted of witchcraft and now faces imminent beheading for sorcery unless the King issues a rare pardon.

There continued to be occasional prosecutions under the Witchcraft Act of Britain in the 19th and 20th century. The most well remembered is that of the medium Helen Duncan in 1944, the last person to be imprisoned under the Act. Supposedly the authorities feared that by her alleged clairvoyant powers she could betray details of the D-Day preparations, but the accusations in court centred round defrauding the public. She spent nine months in prison. The last conviction under the act was that of Jane Rebecca Yorke. The Act was repealed in 1951.

Some Christian fundamentalists in the United States react to Neopaganism, and Wicca in particular, with rhetorics reminiscent of the European witch-hunts.[18]

In August 1999, Jack Harvey, pastor of Tabernacle Independent Baptist Church in Killeen, TX allegedly arranged for at least one member of his church to carry a handgun during religious services, "in case a warlock tries to grab one of our kids...I've heard they drink blood, eat babies. They have fires, they probably cook them..." During speeches which preceded his church's demonstration against Wiccans, Rev. Harvey allegedly stated that the U.S. Army should napalm Witches. One of the Christian's signs read "Witchcraft is an abomination" on one side and "Burn the witches off Ft. Hood" on the other. A Wiccan faith group is active at Ft. Hood, a large army base near Killeen, TX.

I will not dwell on the past of their religion, it has been over-done and it's not relevant anymore. But these things are horrible. And I'm not saying all Christians are like this... but this does prove that sometimes, Christianity (and other religions that claim to have the only truth) can bring out the worst in people... and it should be treated with caution and care.

People are not automatically good because they are 'god-fearing Christians'.

I was especially interested in those Americans screaming about how gay people suck. For fuck sake people! It's not like people are protesting against Christians. (like it would help)

I don't get mad when people insult my religion, or that of others. I do get mad when people discriminate against homosexuals and people with a different skin colour. Because they can't help it that they are the way they are.

Unfortunately, they shot the lion, but it was only a tranquillising gun. And the lions were not killed in the end. (Most of the times, a non-human animal that has attacked a person is put to death, but they made a exception in this chase.)

OK,those are actually funny xD

I couldn't help laugh about the baby killing in 'the poor little witch'. If witches or Satanists would kill babies, they would be in jail. And that little bitchy witch in the comic did not even go to the police to report the child being killed. The only thing she cared about it saving herself... that's not what the bible teaches them? Is that what Jack Chick wants to teach young christians?
